Dream winter holidays - in Iran ski resorts

When people think of Iran, they tend to think of the desert, not of ski resorts, but Dizin and Shemshak ski resorts are one of the best destinations for skiers in the Middle East and every year hosting many ski tourists in winter.

Dizin is Irans top skiing resort. Skiing was first bought to Iran by German engineers who were building the railway in Persia in the 1930s and were impressed by the mountains they saw. Built in 1969 by the Shah of Iran, Dizin resort is situated just north of Tehran in the Alborz Mountains at an altitude of 8,530 feet and is one of the 40 highest ski resorts in the world (the highest ski lift here reaches 11,482 feet).

All these ski resorts are near the Tehran and you can in addition to the skiing, visit the most beautiful historical and cultural sites and museums of Tehran.

Day 1

Arrive at IKA at 00:55 am. Transfer to Tehran, overnight in Laleh 5* Hotel. Breakfast in the hotel. We will visit Archaeological & Islamic Art Museums, the finest museum in Iran where you'll view a collection of ancient Persian civilization (max. 8h city tour including: national museum, historical gate of Bagh-e-Melli, Golestan palace, the Shah Masque, the Old Bazar of tehran). Overnight in Tehran Laleh 5* Hotel

Day 2

Breakfast in the Hotel. We will drive to Dizin. Your professional ski guide join us and you have plenty of time for skiing in Dizin Ski Resort. Overnight in Dizin 4* Hotel

Day 3

Breakfast in the hotel. You have all the day for enjoying of skiing in Alborz Mountains in Dizin. Overnight in Dizin 4* Hotel

Day 4

Breakfast in the hotel. After a short trekking in the area we will return back to Tehran, and then driving to Shemshak. Overnight in Shemshak 2* Hotel

Day 5

Breakfast in the hotel. Full time skiing pleasure in Shemshak ski resort. Overnight in Shemshak 2* Hotel

Day 6

Breakfast in the hotel. After the breakfast you can enjoy free skiing until the afternoon. Then we will checking out and Return to Tehran at 12:00. We will check in hotel and after a short break we'll start our evening city tour. (max. 5h, including: Niavaran palace complex. Tajrish Old Bazar, night Tehran view in Bam-e-Tehran). Overnight in Tehran Laleh 5* Hotel

Day 7

Transfer to IK Airport at 4:00 am for your return flight.
